How to test keyboard rollover

  1. Hold several non-reserved keys at the same time.
  2. Compare the physical keys you are holding with the highlighted browser-detected keys.
  3. Watch Maximum detected together as you try different combinations.

What the result means

Maximum detected together is the largest simultaneous set of browser key events observed during this session. It is not an NKRO or hardware certification because operating-system and browser shortcuts can intercept some combinations before the page receives them.

Why some combinations may differ

Keyboard matrix design, firmware, operating-system shortcuts, browser behavior, and remapping can all affect which codes reach a web page. Use the guided Keyboard Ghosting Test when you want to compare one known expected combination against what the browser receives together.
